Nutritional Therapy is an umbrella term for the techniques used in my private coaching program, Reclaim Your Health.
While allopathic medicine is designed to suppress symptoms, Nutritional Therapy is designed to find the root causes, or the WHY, behind your symptoms.
EXAMPLE: When your annual bloodwork comes back indicating high cholesterol, allopathic medicine suggests putting you on a medication, typically a statin, to lower your cholesterol numbers. In contrast, Nutritional Therapy works to find out what is causing your high cholesterol and repair it at the root.
Hilary’s signature Reclaim Your Health program is a 3-month Private Nutrition-Coaching program designed to assess your bio-individual health needs, provide education about your symptoms and how they connect with their root cause(s), and resolve symptoms through manageable lifestyle and dietary changes that help to grow your intuition and improve your relationship with food.
The Reclaim program includes:
➡️ Initial Assessment & Initial Recommendations sessions
➡️ Reassessment sessions every fourth week
➡️ 1 functional lab test/panel
➡️ Video Check-In sessions as needed between Assessments
➡️ A 20% supplement discount for the duration of the program
➡️ Customized weekly meal plans, if needed
➡️ Forever enrollment to the Kitchen Detox Workshop
➡️ Unlimited chat & email support between sessions

Hilary specializes in helping people with PCOS, and chronic pain and inflammation.
These conditions show up in many different kinds of symptoms.
Symptoms I commonly see in my clients include bloat, constipation, IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome), diarrhea, nausea, eczema, adult acne, weight gain, infertility, irregular periods, thyroid symptoms, brain fog, migraines, headaches, pain, sleep troubles, seasonal allergies, unexplained fatigue, congestion/stuffy head, and runny nose.
Additionally, it's common for my clients to tell me they've been previously diagnosed with conditions like Interstitial Cystitis, Hidradenitis Suppuritiva, Hashimoto's, Multiple Sclerosis, SIBO (Small Intestinal Bacteria Overgrowth), Diabetes, or Pre-diabetes.
People also often seek out Nutritional Therapy to help them learn to generally eat healthy, and live a foundational healthy lifestyle, and improve their relationship with food.

Every individual’s timeline and progress looks different based on what their body needs, and their commitment level.
Regarding Nutritional Therapy, most, if not all clients, begin finding relief only a few weeks into the program.
It's important to remember, your symptoms did not occur overnight, and neither will your healing.
This is why I designed the Reclaim program in 3-month increments.
Day-to-Day Timeline
Currently, all sessions are provided online via private video calls, so there is no commute time.
Typically 60-90 minutes each is needed for the Initial Assessment and Initial Recommendations, plus the time it takes to complete a 4-day food journal, as well as other essential intake forms.
Brief check-in sessions are held weekly for the first month, then once per month after that. These sessions will take only 20-30 minutes of your time and don’t require any food journaling or intake.

Yes!
My credentials do not restrict me to any geographical area.
All of my services are offered virtually, so seeing clients who live outside of Seattle is no problem.
-
I’ve got you covered!
I build an additional four weeks into the 3-month Reclaim program. This allows for some wiggle room to accommodate for busy lifestyles and helps you stay on track without having to forfeit any one-to-one time.

In short, no.
Nutritional Therapy is a process that assesses bio-individual needs and addresses symptoms through lifestyle and dietary changes, as well as teaching intuition.
This process takes time, consistency, and accountability. None of these components can be well applied with an a la carte approach.
Individual sessions and maintenance programs are available to those who have successfully completed a full Nutritional Therapy program.
For those who want to get started but are not ready to commit to the Reclaim program, Hilary offers an introductory service called a Holistic Health Starter Kit, wherein Nutritional Therapy techniques are used to provide a one-time assessment of your bio-individual needs.

Regarding the Reclaim Your Health program, clients have two payment options: to pay in full upfront, or in 3 monthly installments.
Hilary is able to offer an administrative discount to those who choose to pay in full, upfront.
For all other services, payment is required in full at the time of purchase.
This is a great health-forward use of your HSA or FSA funds.
-
Short answer: Yes!
Services & products provided by a Nutritional Therapy Practitioner (NTP) are not billable as a claim to health insurance, no matter who provides your insurance policy.
However, nutrition consulting services, functional lab testing, and nutritional supplements are covered by most HSA and FSA funds (Health Savings Accounts and Flex Spending Accounts, respectively).
Check with your insurance policy directly to find out whether your HSA or FSA will allow this.

Bottom Line: Hilary only works with clients she knows she can help.
Hilary’s job is to provide education, coaching, and accountability, to help you reach your goals.
As long as you are honest & forthcoming about your symptoms, diet, and lifestyle, you and Hilary will work well together, and you will see progress.
That said, if something in the program is not producing results, we dig deeper. Nutritional Therapy is fluid and adaptable to your body's needs, which will change throughout the process. That may include additional lab testing, referral to a specialist, or trying a different modality.
At the heart of it, your long-term health is important to Hilary, and will always be at the forefront of the care she provides you. And although no client has ever requested a refund from Hilary, refunds are available to those who qualify.
-
Refunds are not available due to buyer's remorse. In order to request a refund, the Client must submit proof of having attended all included Sessions and completed all Recommendations provided by the NTP, as well as evidence that all initially subjective symptoms have not improved after having implemented said Recommendations. The Client must have also requested additional coaching (on top of included sessions) regarding unimproved symptoms at least three (3) times from the NTP. Well Roots may require that the Client submit documentation, including and without limitation, any journaling or tracking completed in relation to Nutritional Therapy, and any record of additional coaching you received. This will ensure that you have maximized the resources available inside the program.
Refunds will not be given for lab testing, supplements, or any tangible items provided. Refunds requested of all other included services will be determined by Hilary on a case-by-case basis.

The best way to know is to book a free Private Video Consultation.
It’s a risk-free, 30-minute video call to help us explore your health goals and find out if you are a good candidate for this type of care.
As a researcher, I understand the desire to gather data that will help me make an informed decision.
And the reality is, when you approach me for Nutritional Therapy services, I have to make the same decisions as you. I ask myself questions, such as:
➡️ Are we a good fit to work together?
➡️ Is this worth my time and energy?
➡️ Do I have what it takes to succeed?
➡️ What’s most important right now?
Sometimes data is enough to determine this, but sometimes you just have to go with your gut (pun very much intended!).
A Private Video Consultation helps us get to know one another and to explore your health goals, with no obligation or pressure.
